Georgia WR Jackson Meeks commits to Syracuse

Junior wide receiver Jackson Meeks will transfer to Syracuse, he announced on social media.

Meeks appeared in all 12 games for the Bulldogs this season so far, and has one catch for 23 yards. For his career, he has 10 catches for 132 yards from 2021-23.

He entered the portal earlier in December following Georgia's loss to Alabama in the SEC Championship game, which ultimately knocked the Bulldogs out of the College Football Playoffs.

Meeks, a Phenix City, Ala. native, was a three-star prospect in the 2021 cycle and ranked the No. 82 overall wide receiver in his class.

It is another recruiting win for head coach Fran Brown, who was Georgia's defensive backs coach before joining Syracuse. Meeks officially visited the Orange over the weekend.

He has one season of eligibility remaining.
