Hodge has Orange offer

Ocala (FL) Forest three star prospect Jaydon Hodge is closing in on twenty offers at this time. One of them is from Syracuse.

"They offered on April 6th and I found out from my head coach," Hodge said. "I think it's a very prestigious university both for academics and football."

Hodge, 6-feet-0, 170 pounds has been talking with two Orange staffers since he was offered.

"I feel very honored to have received an offer from Syracuse. When I first found out I was ecstatic. I've been talking to Coach White and Coach Monroe. We keep in contact. I send them my film after my games and all."

Where exactly would Syracuseveant Hodge to line up on the field.

"They are recruiting me for safety. They said they like how I'm versatile. They like how I can play man, see ball get ball and come down and tackle."

As far as narrowing his listvand making a commitment there is no set time.

"There's no set date for either at this time."
