Orange offer DB Belton

Dane Belton is a 5.6, 3-star defensive back out of Jesuit High School down south in Tampa, Florida. Recently the 2019 prospect added a new offer from the Syracuse Orange

Cuse Confidential caught up with the 2019 cornerback to talk about his latest offer from Syracuse.

“I’ve been talking to coach Lustig for a while and this morning he asked me to FaceTime him,” Belton told Cuse Confidential. “Coach and I I talked for a few and then the safeties coach jumped on too. After that they just said they love how I play and think I’ll be a great fit for them and they offered.”

Belton admits he knows very little of the program but he hopes to learn soon as a good friend of his plays for the team currently.

“I know the basics about them,” said Belton “I know they’re in the ACC and have an indoor field, but not too much right now until I do some research. However one of my friends, Scoop (Bradshaw) wears number 18 and plays corner for them, so I’ll definitely learn more.”

The three-star defensive back doesn’t have any plans to visit Syracuse just yet, but is hoping to learn more about the program and schedule a visit soon.

“No visit just yet,” Belton mentioned. “I will discuss with my parents to try and get up there soon.

Along with the Orange, Belton is also hearing a lot from a ton of other schools and also has official visit plans to check out Pitt (June 15th) and Iowa (June 22nd). He is also starting to draw some interest from Ohio State as well.
