Syracuse had the best NLI Day in the modern era on Wednesday when it officially welcomed in its 2024 class. Headlined by four-star recruits Yasin Willis and Emanuel Ross, and transfers Fadil Diggs and Kyle McCord, the Orange's class currently sits at 50th on Rivals, but with a per-recruit average of the highest since Rivals began tracking recruiting.
We chatted with Rivals National Recruiting Analyst John Garcia Jr. on The Juice on the Cuse Podcast, presented by Rivals and Bleav, after signing day finished. One of the questions we asked is if this is the best recruiting class he's seen the Orange bring in.
"I think when you consider the portal additions combined with the prep additions, it's got to be yes with the influx of talent that's going to come in. I think this is the most talented group that I've seen SU bring in."
He also singles out Jamie Tremble as someone who is in for a rankings boost to a four-star blue-chip recruit. Tremble finished with 1,178 yards and 15 touchdowns for Wesleyan (GA) in his senior season.
We also chat about what work is left to do ahead of the February signing period, the Boca Raton Bowl and Fran Brown's NLI press conference.
