On Syracuse basketball's media day on Friday, we caught up with transfer center Naheem McLeod.

McLeod spoke about the differences between FSU and Syracuse, and how he fits with this year's team.

The Juice Online: How does your playing style fit in with this year’s Orange squad?

Naheem McLeod: I feel I have the ability to move and help space guys out and space the floor to try and fit that play style. I really can actually shoot. I would rather just go dunk on somebody because that is just the easiest thing. But if there is time and space and I want to shoot a 3, I am going to shoot it.

TJO: What are some of the major differences between practicing at FSU and Syracuse?

NM: Practicing at Florida State is a lot more drills and much longer practices, man. The running was a lot harder at Florida State. Here it is more concept-based, let’s make sure we know everything and take your time to make sure you can be the best you can be.
