Four years ago, Olof Tillman had a conversation that would change the trajectory of his life.

As a 12 year old in Sweden, Tillman had already started to fill into his current 6-foot-5, 290-pound frame when a friend of his said he should give American football a shot.

Tillman took to the sport immediately, and started seeking out opportunities to play even though the majority of the game was played an ocean away.

"I fell in love with the game," Tillman said to The Juice Online. "I kept playing and getting better."

https://syracuse.rivals.com/Tillman is now a rising sophomore, and has left his European roots to play at Life Christian Academy (VA). He is developing into a high-major prospect at offensive line, and visited Syracuse last week to get a closer look at the school with some of his teammates.

"I loved getting a tour of the amazing facilities," Tillman said. "You can really feel the atmosphere walking trough the weight room and the practice fields. The players lounge was really cool to see and getting to watch a highlight tape in the film room was a great experience."

Tillman got to meet with the coaches and players, and one of the biggest takeaways he had from the conversations was the makeup of a student-athlete at the Power 5 level.

He also got a greater understanding of the history of Syracuse and toured the facilties.

"The visit gave me more insight on the history of the school and the town," Tillman said. "I also learned that Syracuse is the only school with an indoor stadium. It gave me a new perspective on the school in a good way. I got great impressions of the program."

Tillman left more interested in Syracuse, and one day hopes to show the team what he can do on the football field.

"I would describe myself as a big, psychical player that loves studying the game," Tillman said. "I like watching videos on how to improve small details and getting to know more tips and tricks. I’m nasty and like to finish."
