Syracuse freshman forward Chris Bell is returning to Syracuse

Syracuse freshman forward Chris Bell announced on social media that he would be returning to the Orange for his sophomore season.

"I'm back #year2," Bell posted in an Instagram story.

Bell started 30 games for Syracuse in his freshman campaign, and averaged 6.6 points and 1.8 rebounds in 20.2 mpg. He finished the season shooting 34.5 percent from 3-point land.

Bell was a four-star prospect in the 2022 class according to Rivals, and was the No. 90 recruit overall.

Syracuse is awaiting the decision of Judah Mintz, who has entered his name in the NBA Draft process. Jesse Edwards still has a year of eligibility remaining and he not announced his decision yet.

Earlier in the day, Benny Williams announced he would return for his junior season. Syracuse also added JJ Starling through the transfer portal via Notre Dame.
