Syracuse guard Judah Mintz invited to NBA Draft Combine

Syracuse freshman guard Judah Mintz will be one of 78 participants in the NBA Draft Combine, the NBA announced on Tuesday.

The combine is scheduled for May 15-21 at Wintrust Arena and the Marriott Marquis in Chicago, and is an important step in the draft process for NBA prospects leading up to NBA Draft on June 22.

Players will have interviews with NBA teams and participate in five-on-five games as well as shooting and strength and agility drills.

Mintz declared for the NBA Draft in March, but retained his college eligibility. On3 Sports' Joe Tipton recently reported that Mintz is likely not returning to Syracuse.

Mintz was named to the All-ACC Rookie Team after averaging 16.3 ppg and 4.6 apg, while shooting 44.3 percent from the field.

He is currently projected in some mock drafts as a second round pick, while in others, he is not currently projected.

The deadline to withdraw from the draft is June 12.

"I'm excited and blessed to have this opportunity and I can not wait to see what is in store for my future," Mintz said on social media about his decision to declare for the draft.
