Syracuse latest to offer 2017 LB

Outside linebacker Anthony Hines, Plano (TX) Plano East, is only a sophomore in high school, but he holds over sixty scholarship offers right now, more than any other player in the class of 2017. One of the latest teams to add to that impressive list was Syracuse.
"I am very excited about the Syracuse offer, Syracuse is an offer that I've wanted for a while it's a school with a great football tradition and top business school."

For Hines, although he has an extraordinary number of scholarship offers already, his recruiting process is really just getting started. With so many schools to look at, he will need to certainly do his homework before making any sort of top list or concede that any team is above the other.
"I am being recruited by just about everybody in the country pretty hard, so none (stand out over others)."
For Syracuse fans, the interest that Hines has should be encouraging. While he can't exactly pin point how high that interest actually is, he does want to get to Syracuse to visit over the summer while he is making his visiting tour.
"I don't know yet (where Syracuse stands), I'm going to visit this summer."
It may not come as a surprise, but Hines has no time table for when he will start to trim that list and ultimately choose a school.
