Syracuse Recruiting Roundup: April 24, 2023

Syracuse wrapped up its spring practices with its annual Spring Game on Friday. The Orange hosted several key recruits throughout the week, some with offers, and other who left campus with offers.

Here's some of the highlights as we get closer to turning the calendar on April.

2025 four-star wide receiver Andrew Marsh boasts an offer sheet that includes Houston, Oklahoma, Texas, UTSA, Oregon, Baylor, TCU and LSU. He also holds a Syracuse offer and visited Central New York this weekend. He broke down his whole visit with our Charles Kang.

2027 ATH Xavier Sabb is a rapidly rising prospect from the Garden State. Just a rising freshman, Sabb already holds offers from Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State and Rutgers. Our Charles Kang caught up with Sabb after his Syracuse visit, where he picked up an Orange offer.

Speaking of the Sabb family, 2026 ATH Amari Sabb visited with his brother, and also picked up a Syracuse offer. His offer list already includes Oregon, Georgia, Mississippi and Penn State. He spoke with our Charles Kang about the visit and offer.

Syracuse hosted one of the elite recruits in the 2025 class on Monday, as 2025 Bishop Alemany (CA) offensive lineman Maki Stewart was on campus. A Rivals four-star recruit, and the No. 201 overall prospect in his class, Stewart holds offers from Arizona, BYU, Utah and South Carolina, among many others. Our Charles Kang chatted with Stewart after the visit.

2024 offensive lineman Michael McMonigle picked up his first Power 5 offer from Syracuse in January during a visit, and he took another visit Central New York on Friday to take in SU's spring game. He tells our Charles Kang that he's set an official visit date and recaps his trip.

2024 running back Gideon Ituka is one of the top prospects in the Maryland area and got a closer look at Syracuse earlier in April. The Orange offered the 5-foot-9, 220-pound Gaithersburg (MD) High athlete in March, adding to a double-digit offer sheet that, includes Boston College, Maryland, Tennessee and Wisconsin. He talks to our Charles Kang about his Syracuse visit.

2024 ATH Dashaun Gibson received his first Power 5 offer from Syracuse in January, and got a closer look at the school when he visited for SU's Spring Game on Friday. Gibson spoke to our Charles Kang about his visit.
