Syracuse Recruiting Roundup: October 23, 2023

It was another busy week in the Syracuse recruiting world with the football team sending out several offers and the basketball team hosting a top 2025 recruit. Let's dive right in...

Syracuse offered 2025 Bergen (NJ) Catholic offensive lineman Chris Vigna, adding to an offer sheet that also includes Virginia Tech and Boston College. "Very happy to get an offer from Syracuse," Vigna said to The Juice Online.

2025 offensive lineman Michael Troutman has offers from Duke, Boston College, Pittsburgh, Penn State and Michigan State, among others, and the DePaul Catholic (NJ) prospect added another one from Syracuse on Friday. "I feel nothing but blessed to have been given such an opportunity," Troutman said in an interview with The Juice Online.

Syracuse extended an offer to one of the top freshmen prospects in New York on Thursday, 2027 ATH Elijah Kimble, adding to a list that includes Penn State and Oregon. "It felt great," Kimble said to The Juice Online.

Four-star defensive back Onis Konanbanny received an offer from Syracuse last week. He holds roughly two dozen offers, including Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma and Wisconsin. "I think it’s a great program," Konanbanny said to The June Online.

And we close this week's roundup on the hardwood with 2025 guard Kiyan Anthony. The son of legend Carmelo Anthony, Kiyan was on the Syracuse campus for an official visit. The week before, he was on an official visit to Florida State.
