2024 Syracuse Football Early Signing Day Central

Today is the first day of the early signing period, where high school football players from around the country can submit their National Letters of Intent to officially become a part of their college football programs.

Syracuse is expected to sign all of their verbal commits, and a couple surprise letters may be in store.

3:45 p.m. - Coach Fran Brown speaks

Syracuse head coach Fran Brown addressed the media in regard to his new recruiting class. Here's a sampling of what he had to say:

3:17 p.m. - Tremble signs

Jamie Tremble has signed his LOI in a big win for Syracuse. Initially, Tremble was thinking of holding off signing until February, but enjoyed his OV to SU over the weekend.

2:59 p.m. - McCord officially transfers

Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord is now a Syracuse Orange, the school announced. He finished the season with 3,170 yards with 24 touchdowns against six interceptions.

2:50 p.m. - Diggs officially transfers

Junior defensive lineman Fadil Diggs has transferred to Syracuse. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound athlete recorded 36 tackles (22 solos), four sacks and two pass deflections for the Aggies in 2023.

2:44 p.m. - Heard officially transfers

Syracuse announced the transfer of James Heard Jr. He was a four-star recruit in the 2023 cycle and played at Camden (NJ) High. He appeared in three games for the Mountaineers and redshirted.

2:39 p.m. - Meeks officially transfers

Jackson Meeks is officially Orange, the school announced. Meeks appeared in all 12 games for the Bulldogs this season so far, and has one catch for 23 yards. For his career, he has 10 catches for 132 yards from 2021-23.

2:31 p.m. - Grant officially transfers

Syracuse announced the transfer of Buffalo transfer defensive back Devin Grant. Grant was a 2023 All-MAC First Team selection, leading the conference with five interceptions go with 79 tackles, two fumble recoveries and eight PBUs.

2:21 p.m. - Haynes officially transfers

Syracuse announced the transfer of wide receiver Zeed Haynes. As a true freshman, Haynes recorded one reception for 20 yards with the Georgia Bulldogs.

2:17 p.m. - Philostin to Indiana

Despite a late push from Syracuse, Cardinal Newman (FL) defensive back Josh Philostin has stuck with his commitment to Indiana. The Orange hosted him two weekends ago on an OV, but he met with the new Hoosier staff and signed on Wednesday.

2:14 p.m. - Edwards signs

KingJoseph Edwards, one of the top prospects in the 2024 class, selected Syracuse on Tuesday evening over 30 other offers and finalists Colorado and Florida State. He's now officially signed with SU.

2:02 p.m. - Thomas signs

New York's 10th rated prospect, wide receiver Ja'Meer Thomas, has signed with the Orange.

1:57 p.m. - Williams signs

Three-star quarterback Jakhari Williams has signed with the Orange. The former Georgia Tech commit is the only QB in SU's 2024 class.

1:43 p.m. - Washington signs

Elijah Washington, a 6-foot-7 tight end, has signed with the Orange. The three-star prospect committed to the Orange in August.

1:36 p.m. - Hornsby signs

Winslow Township (NJ) wide receiver Jaylan Hornsby has signed his NLI. The Texas A&M flip is the No. 8 overall prospect from the Garden State.

1:31 p.m. - Fatim Diggs signs

Syracuse is getting a double-dose of Diggs. Fatim Diggs signed his NLI, and his brother, Fadil Diggs, will be transferring in from Texas A&M.

1:19 p.m. - Caden brown signs

One of New York's top prospects, Caden Brown, is now officially Orange. The three-star Erasmus Hall defensive lineman committed following an official visit over the weekend.

1:02 p.m. - Jayden Brown signs

Jayden Brown, a linebacker from New Jersey power Don Bosco Prep, signed his NLI. His offer sheet included Boston College, Buffalo and UConn.

12:51 p.m. - Long signs

2024 defensive back Braheem Long, who committed to Syracuse in June, has now signed with Syracuse. He is a three-star prospect and the 28th ranked player in New Jersey.

12:43 p.m. - Lesaine signs

Jahide Lesaine Jr. has signed with Syracuse. The wide receiver out of Irvington (NJ) High officially visited two weekends ago and flipped from Kent State.

12:37 p.m. - Haile signs

Three-star Millville (NJ) High wide receiver Ta'Ron Haile is officially signed. He picked Syracuse in June over offers from Boston College, Nebraska and Maryland, among others.

12:29 p.m. - Hart signs

Syracuse is starting to announce its signings now. The first was three-star running back Jaden Hart from Michigan City (IN) High.

12:27 p.m. - Watson commits to Syracuse

As our subscribers knew yesterday, Maraad Watson committed to Syracuse on Wednesday morning. He picked the Orange over finalist Tennessee.

11:03 a.m. - Rosahac signs

Per his Twitter, Jim Thrope (PA) High offensive lineman Noah Rosahac has signed with Syracuse. The three-star lineman committed to Syracuse in April over a double-digit offer sheet that included Virginia Tech, UMass and Temple.

10:40 a.m -  Ross signs

According to Jersey Sports Zone, four-star wide receiver Emanuel Ross has signed with the Orange. The one-time Stanford commit flipped to the Orange following an official visit two weekends ago.

10:13 a.m. - Willis signs

According to Jersey Sports Zone, four-star running back Yasin Willis is officially Orange. Syracuse flipped Willis from Pitt after he took his official visit two weekends ago. He is the No. 1 prospect in New Jersey according to Rivals.

9:30 a.m. - Willie Goodacre signs

Willie Goodacre has signed his NLI with Syracuse, according to John Fields from the Denton Record-Chronicle. The three-star offensive lineman is SU's lone commitment from Texas.

9:07 a.m. - Matthews-Canty decommmits

Michael Matthews-Canty, a three-star safety/linebacker from Virginia, announced his decommitment from Syracuse on Wednesday morning. In June, he had selected the Orange over offers from Morgan State, Temple, Liberty and Charlotte, among others.

8:22 a.m. - Looks like a single-drop

In year's past, Syracuse would announce each player as it started to receive NLIs. It looks like under head coach Fran Brown, the Orange will do it all in one bunch.

7:38 a.m. - Beasley stays with Purdue

As expected, four-star DB Koy Beasley signed with Purdue. The Orange had him on campus two weekends ago on an OV but we learned Beasley was likely staying with the Boilermakers.
